Guide 4:
What are the reporting requirements for Rule 8?
Which economic benefits information you’ll need to record, and where.
Your agency is required to report on the implementation of economic benefits. This will confirm that agencies are using their procurement activities to deliver economic benefit to New Zealand and what those benefits are.
You can meet these reporting requirements when completing a Notice of Procurement and Notice of Award on the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS).
- When posting a Notice of Procurement, agencies must attest (yes/no) that they are seeking economic benefits to New Zealand and record the weighting.
- When publishing a contract award notice, agencies must indicate which categories of economic benefits have been built into the contract.
Benefits realised from contracts should be tracked over time and incorporated into your regular procurement performance reporting.
This will demonstrate the important contribution that procurement can make to New Zealand
