Significant service contracts framework
This framework helps guide management of contracts for services that are critical to agencies' business objectives.
Significant service contracts are the important contracts that your agency manages.
These contracts are for goods or services that:
- are critically important to the delivery of business objectives
- pose a significant risk, or would cause a significant impact in the event of supplier or supply failure.
The framework is designed to give government and the public confidence that important services are being effectively delivered to New Zealand. It includes information on standardised management, oversight and accountability.
This directly supports the stewardship section of the Public Service Commission’s Leadership Success Profile.
