Contract resources

Savings and costs

Savings

This contract allows agencies to directly appoint a provider, or run a secondary procurement process (depending on internal procurement policy), for construction consultancy services without the need to go to market and run a full procurement process. This saves time, effort, and cost.

Costs

Most AoG contracts include an administration fee. This fee is a simple and transparent way of recovering the cost of developing, sourcing, implementing, and managing AoG contracts.

This agreement holds no administration fee until further notice.

When it is applied, the administration fee will be calculated on a cost recovery basis. The provider will then collect the administration fee and pass it on to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment Hīkina Whakatutuki (MBIE). Agencies do not need to make any payments directly to MBIE.

Joining process

The AoG construction consultancy services contract continues to use Marketplace for the on-boarding of new agencies and providers.

Agencies wishing to procure AoG construction consultancy services must first register for the Marketplace and accept the agency participation Marketplace terms.

Once your agency has accepted the agency participation Marketplace terms, it will be able to purchase from all of the service catalogues listed on the Online Panel Directory (OPD).
