Supplier Relationship Management - everything you need in one place

Refreshed Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) tools and templates will guide you through your own SRM journey.

“Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) aims to build a collaborative and long-term partnership with suppliers, the benefits of which include minimising cost, optimising delivery and increasing resilience against supply chain risks,” says Charlotte Pottinger, Manager Business Relationships, New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP).

“There are so many positive when you establish great SRM practices across your business. And yet for many people it can seem daunting as no two organisations and no two supplier/organisation relationship is the same. NZGP has gathered some of the best international advice – and feedback for our own procurement community – to help.”

“Our newly refreshed SRM introduction pages step you through the four main components of SRM: preparation; planning, implementation and monitoring. Each step links to relevant tools or templates. For example, if you are unsure how to carry out good preparation the linked documents will guide you through how to gather documents and data, set up a register, segment your suppliers and work with your internal stakeholders to validate this. The refreshed pages are systematic in their approach.”

“It is our hope that government agencies will use this to create stronger partnerships with suppliers and enhance their awareness of the benefits of good SRM to their own organisation.”
