Spotlight on reporting – Agency reporting for October 2022

The next reporting deadline is 1 October 2022. All government procurement mandated agencies must complete this reporting.

We are collecting reporting on:

  • Broader outcomes priority outcome three
  • Progressive procurement policy

Frameworks, reporting and advice

Note, we are not collecting procurement capability index (PCI) and significant services contracts framework (SSCF) data in the October 2022 reporting round.

Because the delayed October 2021 PCI reporting was completed in March 2022, there is little additional benefit in agencies completing a further round of PCI reporting this year.

The PCI collection tool will remain available for agencies to view previous assessments. However, you cannot input and save data for the current reporting round. We recommend that agencies save any information they might need for future reporting in their own systems. We will let you know when the PCI tool is open for future reporting rounds.

We collect most of the broader outcomes reporting information automatically via systems such as GETS. However, we still require some manual reporting for priority outcome three and progressive procurement.

Broader outcomes: Priority outcome three – improving conditions for New Zealand workers

This report covers the period 1 January 2022 to 30 June 2022. It requires all mandated agencies to report on their designated contracts for cleaning, security and forestry.

Progressive procurement policy

This reporting covers the period 1 January 2022 to 30 June 2022. It requires all mandated agencies to report on their progress against a 5% target of their relevant annual procurement contracts being awarded to Māori businesses.
