National Fuel Response Plan – guidance on construction contracts for government agencies
This guidance supports the National Fuel Response Plan. It is focussed on construction contracts, however much of the advice may also be useful when considering other contracts in the context of the current fuel supply issues.
We are currently in Phase 1 of the National Fuel Response Plan. The guidance has been prepared to support forward planning and consistent decision-making should escalation occur.
This guidance supports agencies with:
- managing existing construction contracts
- running new procurements and negotiating new contracts
- assessing the appropriate implementation of industry-led responses to disruptions
- understanding supply chain pressures
- knowing when to ask for help.
