ASB joins banking panel

Part of: All-of-Government Procurement news

We are pleased to confirm that ASB Bank Limited (ASB) has joined the All-of-Government (AoG) banking services panel.

ASB joins existing panel providers:

  • ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited (ANZ)
  • Citibank N.A., New Zealand Branch (Citibank); and
  • Westpac New Zealand Limited and Westpac Banking Corporation (Westpac).

ASB offers payment services and card services for the AoG generation 2 banking services solution.

Agencies wishing to continue using ASB for payment services and card services will need to transition from their AoG generation 1 banking services contract to the AoG generation 2 contract. Agencies have until 30 November 2023 to transition between contracts.

A reminder that any agency who used ASB for foreign exchange services under the AoG generation 1 arrangements, will need to enter into new arrangements for those services.  Mandated agencies will need to procure them from another provider on the AoG banking services panel. Non-mandated agencies (which includes schools) have the option to stay with ASB but on ASB’s standard contract terms.

For more information, please refer to the 'Joining this contract' section on the banking services webpages or email the Banking CoE team.
