Engaging subcontractors in the procurement process

Subcontracting can be a significant part of delivering a procurement contract. It’s important that subcontractors have good standards, particularly in employment, health and safety, and that they support training and skills development. This could be achieved by requiring subcontractors to have standards that are consistent with the Supplier Code of Conduct.
