A tendering platform providing an end-to-end solution for secondary procurement on various AoG contracts.
Procure Connect is a tendering platform for agencies, suppliers and providers to manage their procurement activities. It allows you to manage the entire secondary procurement process – from sourcing to contract – through a secure and flexible system.
When complete, it will be the central location for New Zealand Government Procurement’s All-of-Government (AoG) panels, providing an end-to-end process that guides you through the entire procurement cycle.
The tool allows us to focus on the Government’s priorities of transparency, value for money and better spending oversight.
External Legal Services (ELS) is the first AoG contract managed in the tool. It will eventually provide space for all our panels and their associated contracts, procurement activities, and reports.
We will keep you updated as other AoG contracts are moved to Procure Connect and additional functionality is added.
In the past, procurement through AoG panels required different processes depending on the contract. Procure Connect is designed so that all secondary procurement planning, sourcing and management can be done in one place.
This tool allows your agency to treat procurement workflow as a complete process, rather than having to stretch your capabilities across multiple systems.
Agencies can do secondary procurement for any AoG contracts in Procure Connect they are participating in. Using the tool, agencies can select suppliers or providers from a panel and communicate with them throughout the process.
Suppliers and providers can maintain business and panel-specific profiles, respond to tenders, communicate with agencies, and manage their ongoing contracts.
To get access to the current external legal services panel, follow the instructions on the ELS panel page. If your agency isn’t already using Procure Connect, we will help you with the process.
As an agency, you manage your own users’ access to Procure Connect. If you are part of an agency and want access, contact your agency’s procurement team.
We also have guides on the most common actions you might need to take, with video tutorials, available through the tool itself.
