Update on Procure Connect and Online Panel Directory

New Zealand Government Procurement is working on multiple system development initiatives at the moment. Some of the changes will affect the way agencies use All-of-Government (AoG) contracts.

We have let you know that the Online Panel Directory (OPD) is closing in mid-September and all current panel information will move to this website. The decommissioning decision for OPD was outside our control, but the interim solution using our website ensures agencies can seamlessly continue using these contracts.

We are also still progressing through final assurance and clearance processes for Procure Connect, the Government’s Commercial Centre. Procure Connect is a robust platform but we need these final assurances before we release it to users, the first being agencies using the AoG External legal services (ELS) panel.

We are working towards a revised go-live date and will let you know new timeframes for the launch once they’re confirmed. The delay will take us close to the OPD closure date. This means that the AoG External legal services contract will need to temporarily move to this website until we launch Procure Connect.

Change is disruptive. We recognise this situation is not ideal and we appreciate your understanding. The move to this website will ensure that agencies can continue to access AoG panels seamlessly while we juggle these 2 significant technology changes.
