Influence government procurement strategy, policy and practice

Influence New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP) strategy, policy and practice by joining its Business Reference Group.

We’re calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from business leaders who want to join the New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP) Business Reference Group (BRG).

The BRG is an advisory group to New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP), bringing suppliers together to:

  • give their perspectives
  • represent the interests of business in New Zealand
  • work collaboratively for economic growth in New Zealand, and
  • inform and influence government procurement strategy, policy, and practice in New Zealand.

The BRG meets quarterly in Wellington. Members can join in person or attend online.

What BRG members need

Members are generally either representatives from professional or industry associations, or business leaders from within relevant sectors.

Government procurement is focused on supporting economic growth in New Zealand. We’re keen to refresh the BRG membership to support our renewed engagement with New Zealand businesses.

We want the group to include people with experience from a range of sectors, including:

  • construction
  • infrastructure
  • the social sector
  • IT
  • business and commerce.
