The way government office accommodation is organised, coordinated and connected is being refocused.
Property mandate changes and revised expectations are driving a forward looking approach to the way we plan for and organise government office space now, and into the future.
A more organised and coordinated focus, under a new programme called the Government Office Accommodation Programme, will support a drive to regional growth, the changing nature of workplaces, and provide a standardised approach to fit out and design.
A portfolio approach to government office accommodation will focus on the delivery of the government's expectations, including supporting government office accommodation to become more agile, responsive, and resilient.
The Government Property Group supports managing government office accommodation needs through leadership and a more directive approach to meeting the government's expectations for property.
Carolyn Tremain is the Property Functional Leader for government office accommodation and she is also the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE).
