Our government supplier relationship management (SRM) programme aims to improve supplier management practices across government and the resilience of our supply chain, and achieve greater value from suppliers.
The project includes two government SRM toolkits designed to lift agency capability and demonstrate that a more uniformed, coordinated and consistent approach with strategic suppliers will deliver benefits across the system.
This toolkit introduces the key elements of SRM and the value of implementing consistent and uniformed practices. It’s been developed for procurement and commercial professionals who are involved in managing supplier relationships - this could include teams in senior and executive leadership, project managers or business units such as IT teams.
The toolkit will also be helpful to those new to the industry such as procurement graduates.
This is a more detailed toolkit focusing on aligning agencies to a uniformed approach to SRM. It covers supplier segmentation, SRM programme implementation and mobilisation, along with helpful templates to support agencies in building their SRM capability.
