Sourcing social services – connect and share

3 August 2017

The Social Services Procurement Capability team invites government agency procurement staff to attend a regular workshop on sourcing social services.

Topics are suggested by those attending and discussed by all. A recent workshop focussed on:

  • how to debrief a large number of unsuccessful respondents
  • the benefits of the two envelope approach
  • how to prepare providers who may not have responded to many RFx
  • provider performance frameworks.

Katrina Watson, Manager, Health Procurement & Contracting at ACC says “It is useful hearing real examples from other agencies who are experiencing the same challenges, and learning and sharing at the same time.”

The workshops are held every couple of months and last about two hours. No preparation is required, just bring your knowledge and experience. The value of the workshops is in hearing about the differences and similarities of approach among the different agencies.

If you would like to attend the next workshop in September, please contact us.
