Medical Alarm Services - Seeking EOI from agencies

The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) funds the cost of monitored medical alarms for clients with disabilities who meet the relevant qualifying criteria. These medical alarm services are provided by accredited suppliers.

MSD’s current service level agreements for monitored medical alarm services with these accredited suppliers are due to expire in February 2017.

They are now seeking expressions of interest from agencies interested in going to market collectively for medical alarm services.

  • This is for medical alarm monitoring and response services only. It does not include other types of alarm monitoring services such as staff security.
  • MSD has approximately 52,000 Clients who are funded for the cost of the medical alarm service.
  • Clients choose the supplier of their choice from the accredited supplier list
