AoG seeks additional electric vehicle suppliers
New Zealand Government Procurement has gone to market to seek additional electric vehicles suppliers for the All-of-Government (AoG) Vehicles contract.
Following a feasibility study, NZGP has advertised a Request for Proposals (RFP) process, in order to increase the number of electric vehicle options available to public sector agencies.
Economic Development Minister Steven Joyce and Transport Minister Simon Bridges announced the process today.
Some electric vehicles are already available through the AoG panel suppliers. This RFP allows public sector agencies to access technological advances and new models of electric vehicles, which will ultimately drive electric vehicle uptake across New Zealand.
Information on how electric vehicle suppliers can respond to the RFP is available on GETS.
