Joining AoG contracts

  • 1
    Check if you're eligible

All-of Government (AoG) contracts are open to the New Zealand public sector. This includes:

    • agencies within the state sector
    • local authorities, and
    • state funded schools.

    Check your agency's eligibility

  • 2
    Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

If your agency hasn't already joined any AoG contracts, you must sign and return an NDA before you can access confidential information about the contracts.

Email our Procurement team to request a copy or to confirm if your agency has already signed one.

  • 3
    Log into our website

An agency login is required to access commercially sensitive information on AoG contracts. This gives you access to details such as pricing, benefits and supplier information. To set up an account you will need to use a RealMe login so that we can verify your identity.

  • 4
Assess your business requirements against the contract

Your agency or school should consider any existing contracts you have when you're assessing the suitability of AoG contracts for your business needs. Make sure you honour any current contract arrangements you have, particularly with regards to the notice period and payment on outstanding orders.

You can contact us for more information and support around transitioning to an AoG contract.

  • 5
Read the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

Each AoG contract has a related MoU. This sets out the relationship between us and the agencies participating in the contract. It also highlights the obligations of each party and the key points in the contract.

Each contract has a copy of the MoU listed in the ‘Contract documents’ section - you’ll need to be logged in to see it.

  • 6
Complete and return a Letter of Accession (LoA) or joining form

Each MoU includes a template LoA or joining form that must be completed and returned to use an AoG contract.

By signing or accepting an LoA or joining form (as relevant), your agency is agreeing to the terms and conditions of both the MoU and the related AoG contract. You need to complete and return a new LoA or joining form every time you join a new AoG contract.

Email our Procurement team when you’re ready to join a new AoG contract and we’ll send you the LoA or joining form (as relevant) for the contract.
